Welcome to the Dove Lake Circuit hike at Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. This 8.2-kilometer circular route offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the iconic Dove Lake.
As you start your hike from Ronny Creek Carpark, you'll pass by the Dove Lake Walker Registration Booth where you can check in before hitting the trail. The first half of the hike will take you along the shores of Dove Lake, offering picturesque water views and fresh mountain air. Make sure to stop by the Dove Lake Boatshed for a quick rest and photo opportunity.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across various water sources where you can refill your water bottles. Keep an eye out for the Mt Kate House wilderness hut along the way, providing a glimpse into the area's history.
As you approach the latter part of the hike, take a moment to appreciate the viewpoints and benches strategically placed for hikers to relax and enjoy the scenery. The trail will lead you back to Ronny Creek Registration Booth, completing the circuit.
