Welcome to the Langwandkogel hiking route!

This challenging 8.985-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail starts at the Feuerkogelbergbahn parking area. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Eselrast saddle at 3.81 kilometers, offering a picturesque resting spot.

Further along the trail at 2.66 kilometers, you'll reach Gsoll, where you can find information about the area. As you continue, the "Hohe Rast" viewpoint at 1.76 kilometers provides a perfect opportunity to take in the surrounding scenery.

The Langwandkogel peak at 4.49 kilometers marks the halfway point of the hike and offers breathtaking panoramic views. For those interested in exploring caves, there are several cave entrances along the trail, such as Schneeschacht and Boanaschacht.
