This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Brunnkogel peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Starting at the Wambach parking area, you will begin your challenging 13.149-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 966 meters. Along the way, you will pass by points of interest such as the Buttergupf peak, located at around 5.99 kilometers from the start, and the Brunnkogel peak itself, located at approximately 6.57 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

You will also encounter a refreshing spring at around 5.3 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Additionally, you will come across a wayside shrine and several rest areas with informational signs where you can take a break and learn more about the area.

As this is an extremely difficult hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Make sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure and always let someone know your hiking plans for safety.
