This hike takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Pizzone. The trail is 8.6 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 429 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. Be sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before you go.

As you start your hike, you'll come across a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before hitting the trail. Around 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.71 kilometers, you'll encounter cave entrances that add a sense of adventure to your journey. Continuing on, at 2.87 kilometers, a viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

At 3.99 kilometers, you'll reach Monte Pizzone, a peak known for its wayside cross, adding a touch of history to your hike. Just before reaching the peak, at 3.1 kilometers, Acqua Valle Perti provides a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, at 1.55 kilometers, Fonte dell'Acquicciola offers another opportunity to quench your thirst. And at 0.26 kilometers from the start, Ouso di Pozzo Comune cave entrance provides a unique natural feature along the trail.
