This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Monte Pizzone, offering breathtaking views and a challenging trek. The route is a circular path with a total distance of 9.27 kilometers and an elevation gain of 502 meters, lasting approximately 3 hours and 24 minutes. The difficulty level is marked as difficult due to the length and elevation of the hike, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding journey.

As you start your hike, you will come across a wayside cross at Monte Pizzone, a historic site located 3.99 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, about 1.2 kilometers in, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.

Conveniently situated at the start of the trail is a parking area, making it easy for hikers to access the route. Along the way, you will encounter the Acqua Valle Perti drinking water station around 3.1 kilometers into the hike, providing a refreshing stop to stay hydrated.

As you continue your journey, at 1.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Fonte dell'Acquicciola drinking water point. It is worth noting that this water source may be closed during the summer months. Additionally, there is a cave entrance at the 2.71 kilometer mark, adding an intriguing element to the hike.

At 2.87 kilometers into the trail, there is a viewpoint where you can pause to take in the panoramic vistas of the area. Around 4.32 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a boundary stone and a peak, offering different points of interest to explore.

Finally, at 4.3 kilometers into the trail, you will reach a saddle, providing a unique natural feature to enjoy. Along the route, you may also encounter cave entrances such as Ouso di Pozzo Comune at 0.26 kilometers and another one at 2.71 kilometers from the start.
