This hiking route takes you through the stunning Dolomite region, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail is 4.579 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 395 meters, making it a moderately difficult hike. It is estimated to take about 2 hours and 2 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way towards the first point of interest, the Falesia delle Cinque Torri, located just 0.21 kilometers from the start. This rock face is a popular spot for climbers and offers a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, you will pass by Torre Grande and Torre Romano, two prominent peaks in the area. These peaks offer panoramic views of the region and are great spots to take a break and soak in the beauty of the Dolomites.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Nuvolau, an alpine hut nestled in the mountains. This is a perfect place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by Rifugio Cinque Torri, Rifugio Scoiattoli, and Rifugio Averau, each offering their own unique charm and hospitality to weary hikers.
