This hiking route takes you to the Monte Castello area, offering stunning views and a challenging hike. The total distance of the route is 19.684 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1099 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.2 kilometers from the start, there is the Capanna Alpina restaurant where you can grab a bite before continuing your hike. Further along, at around 4.57 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Jù dal'Ega saddle, providing a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest such as ruins from the first World War at 6.87 kilometers, a spring at 1.96 kilometers, and a picnic site at 0.39 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are several information points and benches scattered throughout the route, offering informative insights and resting spots.
Midway through the hike, at 9.84 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Bivacco della Pace shelter, a perfect place to take a break and immerse yourself in nature. Nearby, at the same distance, is the Monte Castello peak, a magnificent sight to behold.
