Hiking : Punta Erbing

This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Punta Erbing in the beautiful alpine region. The trail covers a distance of 8.614 kilometers with an elevation gain of 836 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting from the trailhead, you will come across an alpine hut and a parking area within the first few meters. As you continue on the trail, at around 1.62 kilometers from the start, you will find the Pousa de Zumèles information point and a historic wayside cross along with a bench for a quick rest.

Further along the trail, at 2.64 kilometers from the start, you will reach a scenic viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Midway through the hike, at 2.79 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Forcella Zumèles, a beautiful saddle point.

As you approach the highlight of the hike, Punta Erbing at 4.31 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the Croda dei Zestelis peak, although it is slightly off the trail. Make sure to take a detour to enjoy the panoramic views from this point before continuing to the final destination.
