This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Nuvolau area, offering stunning views and a moderate challenge. The total distance of the hike is approximately 4.55 kilometers with an elevation gain of 395 meters, taking an estimated time of 2 hours and 2 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Rifugio Cinque Torri, located just 0.03 kilometers from the start. This alpine hut provides a great resting spot and a chance to refuel before continuing on your journey. As you hike further, you will reach the Rifugio Scoiattoli at around 0.62 kilometers from the start, offering another opportunity to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing along the trail, at approximately 1.69 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Averau. Although not directly on the trail, this alpine hut is worth the slight detour for a visit. Further ahead, at 2.28 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rifugio Nuvolau, a perfect place to rest and admire the breathtaking views.

Throughout the hike, you will come across various points of interest such as Forcella Nuvolau, Nuvolau peak, and Torre Grande, each offering unique perspectives of the area. Remember to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey, especially considering the moderate difficulty of the hike.
