This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an 18.821-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1716 meters. The trail, known as Normale a Punta Tre Chiosis, is an out-and-back route that will challenge even the most seasoned hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Caserma Vallo Alpino, a historic ruin located at 5.95 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at the same distance, you will reach Colle Losetta, a natural saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue on, at the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the Grand Belvédère du Mont Viso, a viewpoint with breathtaking panoramic views just 0.02 kilometers from the start. Midway through the hike, you will encounter Monte Losetta/Pointe Joanne, a natural peak standing tall at 5.33 kilometers from the start.
