This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and natural attractions. The trail is 1.869 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 181 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you continue along the trail, you will come across the Johannes Nepomuk artwork and several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
About halfway through the hike, you will reach the Lower Barbian Waterfall, a picturesque spot where you can stop to admire the cascading water. The waterfall is located just 35 meters away from the trail, making it a convenient and scenic detour.
Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter the Upper Barbian Waterfall, although it is located a bit further away from the trail. As you make your way back, you can also visit the Quarzporphyr in Barbia, an interesting geological site with informative signage along the trail.
Throughout the hike, you will find benches and viewpoints where you can rest and take in the sights. It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. The total duration of the hike is approximately 53 minutes.
