This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Monte di Mezzo. The total distance of the hike is approximately 12.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 774 meters, making it an extremely difficult trail that will challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find parking facilities nearby to leave your vehicle before setting off on your adventure. As you begin your hike, you will pass by an information point about 3.35 kilometers from the starting point, where you can learn more about the area and its natural wonders.

Midway through the hike, approximately 5.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic peak known as Colle del Vento. Take some time to catch your breath and admire the panoramic views before continuing on towards the final destination.

After a challenging trek of about 6.4 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Monte di Mezzo. As you stand atop this peak, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, making all the effort worthwhile.

This out-and-back trail is not for the faint of heart, so be sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before starting your journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
