Starting at the Parking des Charbonières, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscapes of Orcières. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. Around 1.89 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter impressive rock formations off the main trail. Further along at about 5.35 kilometers, you will reach the Col des Tourettes, a noteworthy saddle along the route.
Throughout the hike, you will have opportunities to replenish your water supply. At 0.12 kilometers in, you will find the Source du Julon, a spring perfect for refilling your water bottle. Additionally, at the 5.8-kilometer mark, there is a water feature ideal for a quick break.
As this is a challenging trail, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before setting out.
