Hiking : La Chinarde

This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding La Chinarde. The trail is 10.235 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 773 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers.

As you start your trek, you will come across a parking area to leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will find Auberge La Roizonne, where you can grab a meal or snack before continuing on your journey. Further along the trail, at 0.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach Les Liourets 1183 m, an information point providing insight into the area.

Midway through your hike, at 5.12 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the peak known as La Chinarde, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. At 1.59 kilometers from the start, you will also encounter a viewpoint that provides another perspective of the scenery.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the viewpoint located at 5.11 kilometers from the start to take in the sights one last time before concluding your hike.

This challenging hike will take approximately 4 hours and 18 minutes to complete, so be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out. Enjoy the breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment as you conquer La Chinarde.
