This extremely difficult 14.017-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 1472 meters. The trail starts at the parking area located at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this long journey.
As you begin your hike, you will come across an information point at 3.2 kilometers into the trail, providing insights about the area. Further along the route, at 6.73 kilometers, you will reach the cave entrance, where you can explore the natural wonders of the region.
One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Vršac at 6.41 kilometers, although it is not directly on the trail. The viewpoint at 1.23 kilometers offers a stunning panorama of the surrounding landscape, giving you a well-deserved break to appreciate the beauty around you.
If you need to refill your water supply, there is a drinking water station at 3.78 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, you will pass by the saddle named Škrbina at 6.73 kilometers, adding a unique feature to your journey.
As you approach the end of the trail, you will encounter the peak of Travnik at 7.01 kilometers. Take the time to soak in the breathtaking views before you head back on the same route.
