This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the majestic Ramsauer Größtenberg in the beautiful area. The 13.857-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 885 meters is not for the faint-hearted.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Further along at approximately 1.04 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

As you continue your ascent, at around 6.93 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Ramsauer Größtenberg peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. This would be a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back.

Along the way back, at around 2.15 kilometers from the start, there are multiple water sources where you can rest and hydrate before completing the challenging hike.
