Starting at the Parkplatz Ruetz Katarakt, you will embark on an out-and-back journey along the Stubaier Höhenweg. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty, with various points of interest scattered along the route.
About 0.75 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a historic wayside cross, a perfect spot to take in the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 5.74 kilometers, you will find an informative tourism point to learn more about the area.
As you continue on, at a distance of 7.19 kilometers from the start, you will reach a refreshing water source, ideal for refilling your bottles and staying hydrated. Additionally, at 4.22 and 4.69 kilometers respectively, there are benches named Katharinas und Roberts Bänkla where you can take a break and enjoy a snack.
For those looking to grab a bite to eat, the Bsuchalm restaurant at 1.84 kilometers from the start and the Nürnberger Hütte alpine hut at 5.72 kilometers offer a great opportunity to refuel and recharge for the rest of the journey.
