This extremely difficult 12.6-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 1048 meters to reach the peak of Rotes Kinkele. Starting at the parking area, make sure to bring plenty of water and pack appropriate gear for this long 5-hour hike.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a water source at around 5.5 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Continuing on, you will find the Remasseen water feature at 5.6 kilometers, providing a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.2 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Rotes Kinkele, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to soak in the beauty before descending back down.

Along the trail, you will also encounter benches for resting at 1.1 and 2.7 kilometers from the start, as well as informational points at 1.4, 1.6, 2.5, 3.3, and 5.1 kilometers, providing interesting insights about the area and its history.
