This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima delle Lepri area. The trail spans a distance of 8.315 kilometers with an elevation gain of 602 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area to leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter the Forcella di Cunella saddle around 3.15 kilometers from the start, offering a scenic spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the route, at around 3.91 kilometers from the starting point, you will reach the Forcella Cavè saddle, providing another picturesque viewpoint along the trail. Additionally, at 0.89 kilometers from the start, you will find the Carli information point offering insights into the area's history and geography.
As you continue your ascent, you may spot the peaks of Cima Terra Bianca and Monte Carli at a distance from the trail, both standing majestically in the landscape. The Cima delle Lepri peak, the final destination of the hike, will be situated around 4.16 kilometers from the starting point, serving as a rewarding endpoint with breathtaking panoramic views.
Although the trail is marked as difficult due to its length and elevation gain, the experience of hiking through this picturesque area is well worth the effort. Remember to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.
