This hiking route takes you to Dosso di Costalta, a peak in a beautiful natural area. The trail is 2.643 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 301 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will come across La Casara, a shelter situated right on the trail. This could be a good place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, you will find a parking area at the beginning, so it's convenient to leave your vehicle before starting the hike.
While hiking, be sure to stay hydrated. There are drinking water sources along the trail, with one located midway at Acqua de la Canela spring. Another drinking water point is located at around 0.5 kilometers from the start.
As you approach Dosso di Costalta, you will come across Cros de Costalta, a historic wayside cross. This adds to the cultural and historical significance of the hike. Additionally, there is a wayside shrine to visit on the trail, adding a spiritual element to your journey.
