Welcome to the hiking route to Cimon di Pontara! This moderate 5.1-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 480 meters will lead you through the beautiful natural surroundings of the area.
Starting at the parking space at the beginning of the trail, make sure to bring enough water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. As you hike along, you'll come across a parking area midway through the route, perfect for those looking to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Continuing on, you'll reach Passo Polpen-Folpeirn, a saddle point approximately 1.91 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in the breathtaking views and learn more about the area from the information point located nearby.
Further along the trail, at around 2.55 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Cimon di Pontara. From this vantage point, you'll be able to admire stunning panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.
During your hike, you'll also find drinking water facilities, a wayside shrine, and benches to rest and recharge. These points of interest are located approximately 0.22 kilometers from the start, providing convenient spots to take a break and refuel before continuing your journey.
