This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Brotzeit-Felsen. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at Jägeralpe parking. With a total distance of 5.197 kilometers and an elevation gain of 352 meters, this moderate difficulty hike offers a wonderful outdoor experience.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Parkplatz Jägeralp-Express at the start of the trail. About 2.6 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a refreshing water source, followed by the Punschhütte restaurant and alpine hut at 2.22 kilometers. Along the trail, you will find various facilities such as benches and shelters for resting and enjoying the surrounding nature.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the Brotzeit-Felsen rock formation at the 2.6-kilometer mark, offering a great place to take in the views and have a snack. Additionally, you will encounter historical landmarks like the wayside cross at Alpe Luchere and viewpoints for capturing the beauty of the area.
