This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Obere Auenfelder Hütte. The trail starts at Parkplatz Saloberjet, where you can park your car before embarking on this outdoor adventure. As you begin your journey, you will pass by Salober-Sattel, a beautiful natural saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This point is about 1 kilometer from the starting point.

Continuing on, after about 2 kilometers, you will reach Obere Auenfelder Hütte, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal at the restaurant or even spend the night at the alpine hut if you choose to. From here, you can also see the SB-Restaurant Salober, another dining option along the trail.

Throughout the hike, you will come across several benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are also information points along the way, providing insights into the area's natural and cultural features.

This out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 5.7 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 166 meters. It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on hot days, and to check the weather forecast before starting your hike.
