This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty, located in the heart of the mountains. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at the Jägeralpe parking lot. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Parkplatz Jägeralp-Express, where you can park your vehicle before embarking on the hike.

Approximately midway through the hike, you will come across the Brotzeit-Felsen, a notable rock formation with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break, have a snack, and admire the scenery.

Along the trail, you will also find the Punschhütte, an alpine hut where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel for the rest of your hike. Additionally, the Sennkuchl restaurant offers another option for sustenance, located towards the end of the trail.

As you continue the hike, you will encounter the Alpe Luchere wayside cross and enjoy stunning viewpoints overlooking the mountains. Be sure to stop and take in the breathtaking views before reaching the endpoint at the Alte Salzstraße S0+.

This moderate difficulty hike covers a distance of 5.241 kilometers with an elevation gain of 353 meters. It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
