This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning Stabbio di Mezzo area, where you will be surrounded by picturesque natural beauty. The 12.289 km trail with an elevation gain of 857 meters offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At around 6.14 km from the start, you will find a water source that is not directly on the trail. Further along, at 3.37 km, there is another water feature called Lago di Dentro. As you continue, at 4.25 km, you will encounter Laghetti della miniera, beautiful small lakes perfect for a rest stop.

Around 0.81 km from the start, you'll reach Croce, followed by Alpe di Piora at 0.97 km, both offering informative insights into the area. Additionally, at 1.24 km, you will find Capanna Cadagno, an alpine hut providing accommodation options for hikers.

Along the trail, you will also pass by several drinking water points to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. It's important to note that some of these water sources may be a short distance off the trail.
