Located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery, this 17.6 km out-and-back trail offers a challenging and rewarding hiking experience. With an elevation gain of 1199 meters, this route is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. Just 2.9 km from the start, you'll come across a lovely water feature called Lago Scuro. Further ahead, at the 7.9 km mark, you'll reach Passo Bornengo, a scenic saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Make sure to take a break and soak in the beauty of the area.

For those in need of sustenance, there is a restaurant located 0.04 km from the start, where you can refuel before continuing your journey. Additionally, there are several water sources along the trail, so you can stay hydrated throughout your hike.

As you venture further into the hike, at around 5.7 km from the start, you'll find Capanna Cadlimo, an alpine hut where you can rest and recharge before heading back. The hut offers a cozy retreat with amenities to make your hiking experience more comfortable.
