Hiking : Cerro Teta Norte

This challenging 11-kilometer hike will take you on a circular route to the peak of Cerro Teta Norte. The trail offers stunning views and a total elevation gain of 302 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a beautiful beach at the beginning of the hike, located about 3 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you'll encounter two water features around the 2-kilometer mark, which are perfect spots to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Cerro Teta Norte, located approximately 5 kilometers from the start. From the summit, you'll have panoramic views of the surrounding area, making the effort well worth it.

As you make your way back, you'll pass by a couple of restaurants located right at the trailhead, where you can refuel after your adventure. There are also benches along the trail for a quick rest if needed.

Due to the length and elevation of the hike, it is classified as difficult. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is also recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Enjoy the hike to Cerro Teta Norte!
