Get ready to embark on a challenging hiking adventure in the beautiful area surrounding Lagunilla Verde. This out-and-back route covers a total distance of 8.993 kilometers with an elevation gain of 67.0 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Your journey will begin at Estacionamiento Museo, a convenient starting point located at the trailhead. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by Club Caza y Pesca, a restaurant where you can refuel and restock on supplies if needed.

About 1.96 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Playa Rocoto, a scenic beach area where you can take a break and enjoy the natural surroundings. From there, continue on to Laguna Escondida, a hidden lake located 3.9 kilometers from the start of the trail.
