Hiking : Weißspitze - Punta Bianca

This hiking route takes you through the scenic area around Weißspitze - Punta Bianca, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 15.857 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1546 meters, this trail is rated as extremely difficult, suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across parking facilities at the beginning of the route, making it easy to access. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by various points of interest. About 3.49 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Hühnerspielhütte - Rifugio Gallina, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further along, at 3.41 kilometers from the start, you will find Malga del Tasso, another alpine hut for accommodation options (please note that it is slightly off the main trail).

Continuing on, at the 5.16 kilometer mark, Riedberger Alm - Malga Novale offers another resting spot for hikers. Additionally, at 4.45 kilometers into the hike, Platzbergalm - Malga Piazza is a restaurant where you can refuel before heading back on the trail.

One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Weißspitze - Punta Bianca at the 7.93 kilometer mark. The breathtaking views from this peak make the challenging journey worthwhile.
