This extremely difficult 12.733-kilometer circular hiking route in the Flaner Jöchl area will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 944 meters, this trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting off at the parking area, you will embark on a journey through the wilderness, with the first point of interest being the Kastellacke water source at 5.24 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle and take a short break.
As you continue on, you will come across Imbiss Helli, a fast-food spot located just 0.07 kilometers from the trail. This is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat before tackling the rest of the trail.
Further along, at 4.27 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bergrestaurant Roßstodl, a restaurant where you can refuel and recharge before heading to the Flaner Jöchl peak, located 6.27 kilometers into the hike. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across several benches and viewpoints where you can rest, take in the scenery, and snap some photos. It's important to bring an ample water supply, as this hike is quite challenging and can be strenuous.
