Welcome to the hiking route to Burgeralm in the beautiful area surrounding Obernberg See. This circular route covers a distance of 6.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 192 meters, making it a moderate level hike suitable for hikers of various skill levels.

Starting at Gasthof Waldesruh, you will make your way towards Obernberger See, located just 1 kilometer away. This serene alpine lake is a lovely spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty before continuing on your journey.

As you hike further, you will pass by Seekapelle, an iconic chapel located along the route that provides a peaceful place for reflection. Additionally, you will come across several information points and benches along the way, offering opportunities to rest and learn more about the area.

After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach Burgeralm, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments at the alpine hut. Continuing on, you will encounter Seealm, another alpine hut offering a cozy retreat amidst the mountains.

The route also includes historical sites such as wayside crosses, adding a cultural element to your outdoor experience. As you make your way back towards the starting point, you can stop by the ehem. GH Obernbergsee, a former restaurant that adds to the charm of the surroundings.
