This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Skalka. The trail is 4.663 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 316 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It will take approximately 1 hour and 52 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a shelter just 0.08 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can take a quick break if needed. Further along the trail at 0.08 kilometers, you will find an information point at Pohorelá, námestie, providing insights about the area.

At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area just 0.0 kilometers from the start, making it convenient for visitors to park their vehicles. As you continue your journey, you will pass by a wayside shrine at 0.0 kilometers and another one at 0.4 kilometers from the start, adding a historical touch to your hike.

Halfway through the trail at 0.32 kilometers, you will find the information point "pod Skalkou," offering more details about the surroundings. A spring named "prameň pod Skalkou" is located at 0.4 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water bottle.

Towards the end of the trail, around 2.33 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Skalka, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape. Finally, at 0.08 kilometers from the trailhead, you will find "Espresso pod Orlovou" restaurant, where you can indulge in some local cuisine before heading back.
