This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route in Orlová covers a distance of 13.487 kilometers with an elevation gain of 744 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 58 minutes to complete.

The hike starts at Pohorelá, where you'll find convenient parking. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by a refreshing spring called Prameň Kyslá, located at 0.73 kilometers from the start. Be sure to fill up your water bottles here before continuing on the trail.

Around 0.82 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across another spring to replenish your water supply. Along the trail, you'll also encounter benches for resting, such as the one located at 1.05 kilometers from the start.

As you continue onwards, at approximately 3.44 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the wilderness hut known as Kanapej, where you can take a break and soak in the scenic views. About 4.88 kilometers from the start, you'll find Útulňa Andrejcová, an alpine hut where you can potentially spend the night.

At the 4.88-kilometer mark, you'll also come across a wayside cross named Kríž u Andrejcovej, offering a historical touch to your hike. Along the way, keep an eye out for the saddle located at 4.88 kilometers from the start, providing a picturesque spot to pause and admire the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 6.74 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a peak, offering stunning panoramic views. Another peak, Andrejcová, can be found at 5.4 kilometers into the hike.

For those in need of a rest, a shelter is available at 0.73 kilometers from the start, providing a comfortable spot to relax. Additionally, a restaurant named Espresso pod Orlovou is located at 0.12 kilometers from the beginning, offering a place to grab some refreshments.

Remember to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike, and ensure you have an adequate supply of water and snacks.
