This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and natural landmarks. The trail is 6.4 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 538 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before starting.
As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, just 0.2 kilometers in, you will find the Refugio Casa de Piedra, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, at 3.22 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Refugio de los Ibones de Bachimaña, another alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your adventure.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various water features such as waterfalls and viewpoints. About halfway through the trail, at 2.51 kilometers, you will come across the Cascada del Fraile, a beautiful waterfall worth stopping to admire. At 0.99 kilometers, you will find the Cascada viewpoint, offering a picturesque spot to take in the scenery.
At the end of the trail, you will find the Mirador del Pino and Mirador del Balneario, both offering stunning views of the area. After a challenging but fulfilling hike, you can head back the way you came, taking in the sights once more as you make your way back to the starting point.
