This hiking route, known as Cesta slobody, is a challenging 10.47-kilometer circular trail that offers stunning views and varied terrain to explore. The trail has an elevation gain of 177 meters and is estimated to take around 2 hours and 51 minutes to complete.

Starting off, you will find parking areas close to the trail to leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you begin your hike, you will pass by Podbanské, a quaint area where you can gather information about the surroundings.

Along the way, you will come across a mini-restaurant called Mini-Restaurácia and a pub named Pohostinstvo Sviští brloh. These spots are ideal for grabbing a bite to eat or a refreshing drink to recharge during your hike. There are also benches strategically placed along the trail for you to take a rest and enjoy the views.

As you continue your trek, keep an eye out for the SNP v Tatrách monument and the Mapa SNP v Tatrách, which provide historical insights into the area. Additionally, you will find a drinking water station and a shelter for your convenience at around the 5.4-kilometer mark.

Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 5.43 kilometers in, you will find another shelter for a final break before completing the loop. It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging adventure.
