This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Niżnia Kopa. The trail covers a distance of 10.748 kilometers with an elevation gain of 677 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. It is recommended to allocate around 4 hours and 10 minutes for the hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. About 0.25 kilometers into the hike, there is a fast food spot where you can grab a quick bite.
As you continue onwards, you will pass by Wrzące Źródło, a natural spring located 0.69 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated during your trek. Further along, you will encounter informative signage at various points such as Żleb Żandarmerii and Włosienica, providing insights into the area's history and significance.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.12 kilometers from the start, you will reach Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich, an alpine hut offering accommodation for hikers. This is a perfect rest stop to recharge and take in the beautiful surroundings. Nearby, you can also explore Przedni Staw Polski, a picturesque waterbody located 5.1 kilometers from the trailhead.
Continuing on, you will encounter Małe Morskie Oko and Małe Żabie Oko, two stunning water features that are perfect for a scenic break. These are located 1.43 and 1.37 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, respectively.
As you reach the latter part of the hike, you will come across various peaks and saddles such as Niżnia Kopa, Świstowe Siodło, Świstowy Przechód, Świstowa Kopa, and Świstowa Czuba. These natural landmarks offer breathtaking views and are situated between 3.92 to 5.37 kilometers from the start, providing a challenging yet fulfilling experience for hikers.
