This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Vysoké Tatry, known for its stunning alpine scenery and challenging terrain. The trail is approximately 11.7 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 682 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at Hrebienok, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Rainerova chata, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, at the 5.8-kilometer mark, you will reach Zbojnícka chata, another alpine hut offering accommodation and services for hikers.
As you continue your journey, you will encounter various natural attractions such as Dlhé pleso, Sesterské pleso, and Vareškové pleso, beautiful mountain lakes perfect for a scenic rest stop.
