Welcome to the Thaurer Alm hiking route! This circular trail covers a distance of 6.177 kilometers with an elevation gain of 599 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. The route will take approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes to complete.

Located in a picturesque area, the trail starts at the parking area for Haselbergsteig und Thaurer Alm. As you begin your journey, you will come across the Adolf Pichler Quelle, a drinking water source, which is perfect for filling up your water bottle before continuing on.

Further along the trail, you will pass by the Pappele priel picnic site, where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks while admiring the surrounding nature. As you trek onwards, you will encounter benches and wayside crosses, offering places to rest and reflect on the beautiful scenery.

At the midpoint of the hike, you will reach the Thaurer Alm, a charming alpine hut. Here, you can relax and refuel with some delicious local cuisine while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
