Welcome to the hiking route to Hohmattli!

Located in a beautiful area with stunning views, this moderate 5.892-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a wonderful hiking experience.

As you start your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way.

Midway through your hike, you'll find the Schönenboden alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, you'll come across the wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to your hike.

Make sure to visit the Salzmatt alpine hut, located at the beginning of the trail, and the Grossriderhaus information point located closer to the end.

With an elevation gain of 452 meters, this trail provides a good workout while still being accessible to hikers of various skill levels.
