This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Ritzlialp. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.684 kilometers and an elevation gain of 509 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Dorfbrunnen drinking water spot at 0.16 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 0.28 kilometers, you will find another drinking water source before reaching Cascade de Jaun waterfall at 0.06 kilometers.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across Ritzlialp Alpine Hut at 2.84 kilometers from the start, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, there is a wheelchair-accessible drinking water point nearby.

On the way back, you can stop by the Restaurant de la Cascade for a meal at 0.24 kilometers from the start. Make sure to bring enough water, as some of the drinking water spots may not be directly on the trail.
