This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Les Plans 1378m, La Frassetta, and Val-de-Charmey. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.051 kilometers and an elevation gain of 509 meters, making it a difficult hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across a picnic site located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks. Continuing on, you will pass by a parking area, making it convenient for you to park your vehicle before starting the hike.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.33 kilometers from the start, you will find the peak of Vanil de la Monse. Although it is not directly on the trail, it is worth a short detour to witness the breathtaking views from the peak.

Midway through your hike, at a distance of 2.53 kilometers from the start, you will reach the water source, which is perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking a rest.
