This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rocca di Dante. The trail is 11.451 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 654 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 17 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Mulino Giorginaro, an attraction located 0.23 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the trail at 1.55 kilometers from the start, you will find the Pizzo Chiapparo peak. While not directly on the trail, the Castello di Novara di Sicilia and the restaurant "Il castello" are both worth a visit and located near the trail.
Halfway through your hike at 5.34 kilometers from the start, you will come across a refreshing spring at "pietra triangolare" rock formation. Continuing on, at 5.73 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rocca di Dante peak, offering stunning panoramic views. At 3.82 kilometers from the start, you will find a viewpoint where you can take in the surrounding landscape.
It is advisable to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and sturdy footwear. Additionally, parking is available at the beginning of the trail and at various points along the route for your convenience.
