This hiking route will take you to Monte Gavasa, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience. The trail spans a distance of approximately 5.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 508 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 2 hours and 27 minutes to complete.
Starting off, you'll find a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you'll come across the picturesque Ponte di legno Cantalupo, a lovely picnic site just a short distance from the trail. Further along, at around 0.32 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Strette del Borbera, an attraction that adds to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Around 2.55 kilometers into the hike, you'll arrive at the peak of Monte Gavasa, offering stunning panoramic views as a rewarding end point. Along the way, you'll also encounter the memorial "Ai partigiani caduti" at 0.44 kilometers and the monument "Stele ai caduti" at the start of the trail.
