This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Höferspitze area, offering stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 5.68 kilometers and an elevation gain of 417 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete.

Starting at Parkplatz Hochkrumbach, you will find a parking area to leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you make your way along the path, at about 0.02 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historical Hochtannbergpass, a saddle area that offers a glimpse into the region's past.

Along the way, you may encounter the Friedenskreuz wayside cross and the Simmel viewpoint and peak, providing excellent opportunities to rest and take in the surrounding scenery. A bit further into the hike, approximately 2.84 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Höferspitze peak, a fantastic spot to admire the panoramic views of the area.

Before heading back, you can also visit the shelter at a distance of 0.07 kilometers from the start to take a break and refuel. Keep in mind to bring enough water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear as you explore this route.
