The Hochschereweg hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 2.955 kilometers with an elevation gain of 145 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 0.13 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.

Around 0.17 kilometers from the start, there is a restaurant named Bad Rothenbrunnen where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. As you continue the hike, at around 0.28 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a historic wayside cross, adding a cultural aspect to your outdoor adventure.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.31 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding views. As you approach the 1.48-kilometer mark, a magnificent waterfall known as Wasserfall is a must-see attraction along the route.
