This challenging hiking route to Kilchli offers a 9.734-kilometer round trip adventure with an elevation gain of 885 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at a parking area with several facilities such as parking lots, a tourism office, and restaurants along the way.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Tourismusbüro and Parkplatz Schroecken Gemeindeverwaltung. Around 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find the restaurant Ritters and the Tannberg restaurant nearby. These are perfect spots to refuel before continuing on the trail.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.44 kilometers from the start, you will reach the saddle known as Fürggele. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings before heading back.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter various facilities such as the shelter at 92.717 meters from the start, the Schnee Bar at 19.093 meters, and benches for a quick break at 1.22 and 1.08 kilometers from the beginning. Additionally, there are informative points and drinking water stations available at different points along the route.

As you reach the peak of Kilchli at 4.87 kilometers from the start, take in the breathtaking views before making your way back the same route.
