This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Ermita de San Antonio de Padua on the Camino de Los Molinos a Navacerrada. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 3.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 68 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities available for your convenience. As you continue, you will come across Collado de la Peña del Guijo, a picturesque saddle with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will encounter Fuente de los Cabreros, a natural spring where you can stop to refill your water bottle.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Las Postas, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy a meal or snack. Nearby, there is also a cafe with the same name, offering a quick refreshment option for hikers. Towards the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to admire the peaks in the area, including two notable peaks located at 1.1 kilometers and 1.44 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Throughout the hike, it is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water and pack some snacks for energy. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
