This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Camino Ortiz area, offering stunning views and a relatively easy trek with a distance of 3.98 kilometers and an elevation gain of 213 meters.

As you start your journey, you will come across the peaceful Embalse del Pueblo de Navacerrada, a water reservoir just 0.13 kilometers from the trail. Further along, at 0.39 kilometers, you will find the Embalse del Ejercito del Aire, another lovely water feature to admire.

Midway through the hike, approximately 1.99 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peaks of Canto Gordo and another nearby peak at 1.99 kilometers. These offer a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Along the way, you will also pass by the Fuente de La Casa de Guías, a refreshing spring located 0.27 kilometers from the start, and the informative Mamíferos de la Barranca at 0.93 kilometers.

At a distance of 1.76 kilometers from the starting point, you will find the Fuente del Mojón, another spring to replenish your water supply.

Remember to bring enough water, as some of these points are spread apart. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change quickly in this area.
