Welcome to the hiking route to Ezkitako Kaxkua!

Located in a beautiful natural area, this moderate difficulty out-and-back trail spans approximately 5.25 kilometers with an elevation gain of 243 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 49 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across Susperregi, a restaurant just 0.01 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink before starting your journey. As you continue along the trail, at around 0.58 kilometers, you will find a spring where you can refill your water supply.

Further along the route at about 1.16 kilometers in, there are two water sources to replenish your supplies. It is always recommended to carry enough water, especially on longer hikes like this one.

Ezkitako Kaxkua, a peak and the destination of this hike, is located approximately 2.63 kilometers into the trail. The summit offers stunning panoramic views, making the uphill climb worth it.

On the way back, at around 1.46 kilometers, you will pass by another peak called Pertsebel. It's worth a stop to soak in the surrounding scenery.

Throughout the hike, there are various points of interest such as drinking water stations, information points, and even parking areas for your convenience.
