Hiking : Atxurro Mendi

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Atxurro Mendi. The trail is a circular route that is 3.3 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 66 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will pass by Mendizabal Sagardotegia, a restaurant located right along the trail where you can stop for a meal or a quick snack. Further along the trail, you will come across a parking area, making it convenient for those driving to the starting point.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Atxurro Mendi, located 1.6 kilometers from the start. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Additionally, on the way back, you may come across the archaeological site of Cromlechs Ermañalde 1-2, located 0.94 kilometers from the start (not directly on the trail).
